 Artist Assistant, Charlottesville, VA, December 2007 – Present

-Work as office and studio assistant for Free Play Productions, the company of author, educator, and musician Stephen Nachmanovitch, Ph.D.

-Work as a consultant for musician Robert Jospé, contributing to the production of his book, Learn to Groove, and to the forthcoming instructional DVD of the same name. 

 

 Teacher, Charlottesville, VA, October 2001 – Present

- Teach private and group music lessons at Heinz Musitronics to students of ages 6 – 65 years.  

- Teach numerous musical styles, including African, Latin, and American popular music, while also teaching private classes in Music Recording and Technology. 

 

 Performer/Composer, Charlottesville, VA, September 2000 – Present

-Perform as a freelance drummer and percussionist, having performed with numerous bands in the Mid-Atlantic region, including Old School Freight Train and Beleza Brasil.  

- Composed and performed music for the UVA Department of Drama (Oedipus Tyrannus, 2007), inFlux Dance, and the UpRooted Dance Theatre Co. Have also composed and performed poetry with the UVA Jazz Ensemble (Spring Concert, 2008).
